BREONICS’ Exsanguinous Metabolic Support (EMS) technology radically broadens the criteria for kidney donors to include the huge cohort of patients that die every year and are not considered for donation. EMS is the first and only technology that can overcome the technical barriers that limit access to these potential donors and will more than double the number of transplantable kidneys worldwide.
